Furniture items are evaluated by photos. The easiest way ….is to send us a picture via email.
We will evaluate whether it is something we think we have the market for and reply with a resale amount and instructions on the next step for pick up of your item if needed. . If you don't have access to email, drop by the store with a traditional photo.
As you prepare to bring your items to the shop, ask yourself, "Would I buy it in its current condition?" Attention to detail will make the difference in how well the item looks and sells. Remember, the key to a profitable sale of used furniture is quality, condition and presentation!
Our furniture consignments are done on a 90 day agreement with a 50/50 split of the Sale of your items. We mark down your item 10% each 30 days for a maximum discount of 20 %. After the 90 days we ask that you schedule return of your furniture or pick up your small items. If not picked up, we do have the right to donate or clearance.
Please do not be offended if we do not accept all your items. Experience with used and home décor items has shown what will and won't sell. Renaissance Room Inc, reserves the right to accept and sell items we determine to be saleable. Items that are missing parts or broken will not be accepted. All items must be clean, in good condition, currently in style and in demand. We may not accept items housed in a smoking or pet environment. We retain the right to decline items.
Large Appliances, Cars, Electronics (i.e. cameras, computers), Mattresses, Toys & Games, Sports or Camping Equipment, Luggage, Unframed Artwork, Posters, Exercise Equipment, Pet supplies, Personal or Medical Supplies, Paperback Books, Souvenir Items, Bath Items, Comforters, Window treatments, Videos, Tapes, CD's, Records, Building Materials, Hardware, Power Tools, Garage Sale Items, small appliances. We suggest that it at least have a retail value of 10 dollars so that will be worth the effort
